The mouth of the Korsak River is part of the Priazovsky National Nature Park (since 2010), a local landscape reserve (1984-2010), located on the territory of the Priazovsky District ( Zaporizhzhya Region , Ukraine ). The reserve was created on September 25, 1984 . Area - 800 ha. The management organization of the reserve is the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine; earlier Botievsky village council, Priazovskoye lesnichestvo, Pobeda fishing farm. According to the park’s scheme, the reserve is one of the protected areas, although the reserve is not listed on this site on the Ministry of Natural Resources website.

History
The reserve was created by Decision of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Executive Committee on September 25, 1984 No. 315. The reserve became part of the (protected, regulated recreation and economic zones) Priazovsky National Natural Park , created on February 10, 2010 by Decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko No. 154/2010 [1] .
Description
The reserve was created with the aim of protecting, preserving, renewing and rational use of natural complexes of the northwestern coast of the Sea of Azov.
It occupies the estuary part of the floodplain and the channel (mouth) of the Korsak River - on the territory of the Botievsky Village Council outside the boundaries of settlements that are south of the village of Stroganovka . A pond was created in the southwestern part of the floodplain at the mouth of the Korsak River, which is not part of the reserve and the Priazovsky NPP. To the south adjoin zones of regulated recreation and the economic Priazovsky NPP - a strip of the water area of the Inhabitant Bay of the Sea of Azov.
Nature
The landscape is represented by wetlands and steppe vegetation. The floodplain is a nesting and migration site for many birds. The steppe communities are represented with the participation of Lessing feather grass ( Stipa lessingiana ) and hairy feather grass ( Stípa capilláta ).
