Biography
Mirza Sadyk Munshi was born in 1758 in the village of Dzhandar, located west of Bukhara .
Mirza Sadyk received primary education in his homeland, and then studied in Bukhara. All Central Asian writings mark him as a prominent historian. He served as secretary at various emirs, and then as a munsh (emir secretary) was brought to court in the era of the emir of Shahmurad . Work in the post continued under the emir Haidar . In addition to the works “The Conquest of the Infallible Emir and Emir Haidar” and “Tarih-i Manzum”, Mirza Sadyk has a third historical composition - “Dahma-i Shahan” (“Tomb of the Kings”).
