On June 17, 1905, he was ordained priest in the monastic order of the Franciscans. Served on a mission in Italian Somalia.
On July 14, 1931, Pope Pius XI appointed him the titular bishop of Ermopol the Great and the ordination of the Apostolic Vicariate of Mogadishu. On November 8, 1931, he was ordained a bishop, which was accomplished in Milan by Archbishop of Milan, Cardinal Alfredo Schuster .
He died in May 1932. He was buried in the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Solace in Mogadishu. In 1993, his remains were transported to Italy, where they were buried in 1997 in the church of St. Anthony of Padua in Milan [1] .
