The upper reaches of the Utlyuk estuary is part of the Priazovsky National Natural Park (since 2010), a comprehensive natural monument of national importance (1974-2010), located in the Akimovsky District ( Zaporizhzhya Region , Ukraine ). The reserve was created on August 20, 1996 . Area - 280 ha. The managing organization of the reserve is the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, previously the Davidovsky Village Council. According to the park’s scheme, the reserve is one of the protected areas, although the reserve is not listed on this site on the Ministry of Natural Resources website.

Content
History
According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk dated March 10, 1994 No. 79/94 (“On Reservation for the Offensive Recreation of Natural Natural Territories”), the Upper Utlyuk Estuary was included in the List of Valuable Natural Territories that are reserved for the primary organization in 1994-1996 of new and expansion of existing facilities of the NWF of national importance [1] . The nature monument of national importance was created by Decree of the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma on August 20, 1996 No. 715/96 ("About the unclaimed territory and the territory of the natural reserve fund of zagalnoe sovereign value"). The reserve became part of the (reserved and regulated recreation of zones) Priazovsky National Natural Park , established on February 10, 2010 by Decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko No. 154/2010 [2] .
Description
The natural monument was created with the aim of protecting, preserving, renewing and rationally using the natural complexes of the northwestern coast of the Sea of Azov.
It occupies the upper reaches of the estuary of the Sea of Azov Utluksky (the protected area of the Priazovsky NPP) - on the territory of the Davidovskiy Village Council outside the boundaries of settlements that are south of the village of Davydovka . Here, the Bolshoi and Maly Utlyuk rivers flow into the Utlyuk estuary, the estuarine parts of which are part of the natural monument (Maly Utlyuk is the reserve zone of the Priazovsky NPP, Bolshoy Utlyuk is the zone of regulated recreation of the Priazovsky NPP). The reserve “ Maly Utlyuk River Floodplain ” (within the boundaries of the Priazovsky NPP) adjoins to the northeast, the evaporation pond (isolated by the water of the Utlyuk estuary) adjoins to the south, and the coastlines of this pond are part of the Priazovsky NPP. The estuary water area and the estuary part of the Maly Utlyuk river floodplain is a conservation zone (according to the map-scheme of the park) of the Priazovsky NPP, the estuary part of the Bolshoi Utlyuk river floodplain is a regulated recreation zone.
In Presidential Decree No. 715/96, a natural monument is managed by two organizations: the Yuzhny collective agricultural enterprise of 101 ha and the Sons of the Sea fishing collective farm, 179 ha.
Nature
The landscape is represented by wetlands and steppe vegetation. The estuary is a nesting and migration site for many birds. The steppe communities are represented with the participation of Lessing feather grass ( Stipa lessingiana ) and hairy feather grass ( Stípa capilláta ).
