Economic Relations
In a survey by Economic Survey 2012 conducted by the Polish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with six other chambers (including the Irish), 95% of foreign investors mentioned Poland as a place to place their investments.
According to estimates by the Irish government organization Enterprise Ireland, 160 Irish companies export their products to Poland, and 60 companies in many industries have a legal entity in Poland. Direct flights from Dublin and Cork , connecting the large Polish diaspora of Ireland with ten cities in Poland, simplify economic relations between the two countries and facilitate the establishment of informal contacts. A large number of Poles send money to their country. At the same time, Irish citizens and companies operating in Poland are transferring money to Ireland. A network of contacts was also established between the Irish Polish Business Association in Dublin and the Irish-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise Ireland in Warsaw .
