Biography

He began performing at an adult level in 1968 as part of the Metallurg club (Krasny Sulin) in the second league . Then, for three seasons, he played for the Volgograd team Tractor / Steel (now Rotor ). In 1972 he played for the Pyatigorsk " Mashuk ".

In 1973 he moved to Rostov SKA . The debut match in the Premier League was played on September 1, 1973 against Dnipro , replacing Yuri Churkin [1] in the 68th minute, and took part in two matches.

In 1974 he played in the first league for Spartak ( Ordzhonikidze ). Then he played in the clubs of the second league - spent four seasons with Rostselmash (played 120 matches), and spent one season with Orel Spartak . He completed his career in 1981 as part of Atommash . Repeatedly scored more than 10 goals per season, personal record - 19 goals in 1979 as part of the Oryol club.

After the end of his playing career, he worked in Rostov-on-Don with children and youth teams.

He died suddenly on February 22, 2008, at the 58th year of his life [2] .
