Ilkhidag [1] ( Ilkhidag ) is a peak in Azerbaijan , located northwest of Baku , not far from the confluence of the Sumgaitchay River in the Caspian Sea , at 40 ° 33'27 "north latitude and 49 ° 28'20" east longitude. Height 327 meters above sea level. The top of Ilkhi-dag is usually considered the extreme eastern tip of the main Caucasian (dividing) ridge .

At the top, the Ilkhidag Formation is named - a rock layer distributed on the Absheron Peninsula and in Cabristan , consisting of dark gray and bluish-gray clay with intercalations of limestone, and belonging to the Danish , Maastricht and Campanian stages (61-84 million years ago).
