Biography
Born in 1985 in Eschweiler ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). In 2006 he became the silver medalist of the European Championship. In 2008, he took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing , where he won the silver medal in synchronized ski jumping, and also became the 6th in synchronized ski jumping, and the 18th in individual jumping from the tower; at the European Championships of the same year, he won gold and silver medals. In 2009 he became the champion of Europe. At the 2010 European Championships he won three gold awards. In 2011, he won the silver and bronze medals of the World Cup, as well as two gold medals of the European Championship. In 2012, he again became the champion of Europe, but at the Olympic Games in London he became 7th in synchronized jumping from the tower, and 10th in individual jumping from the tower. In 2013, he won gold and bronze medals at the World Championships, as well as gold and silver medals at the European Championships. In 2014 and 2015, he again became the champion of Europe. In 2016, he again became the champion of Europe, but at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro he became 4th in synchronized jumping from the tower, and 9th in individual jumping from the tower. In 2017, he won the bronze medal of the World Cup.
