Biography
Born in Melbourne , she grew up in the small town of Woend in Victoria [1] . As a child, the future actress had to change eight schools, due to the fact that her family often moved [1] . She attended Swinburne University of Technology [2] , studied law at Deakin University , but stopped studying to pursue an acting career [3] .
In 2008, Daniel McGuire, the wife of a gangster, played a minor role in the television series Criminal Australia [4] .
Personal life
From 2005 to 2018, West was married to restaurateur Shannon Bennett; the couple had six children [1] [5] [6] [7] .
In July 2002, Madeline West was hit by a bus in Sydney [8] . In addition, while the actress was unconscious, someone robbed her [8] . West needed reconstructive plastic surgery and could lose its role in Neighbors , but after a month she was able to return to filming [8] .
