General Information
The single tournament brought together four representatives of the Top 10 world ranking. The first seeded was the leader of the world classification Novak Djokovic . The second seeding number was the 2014 champion Rafael Nadal (No. 5 in the world at that time). It was these tennis players who played the title in the final and turned out to be stronger Serb Djokovic. Last yearβs winner David Ferrer defended his title as the fourth seeding number, but at the start he lost to the representative of Ukraine Ilya Marchenko . Two representatives of Russia took part in the main tournament: Teymuraz Gabashvili , Aslan Karatsev and Andrey Kuznetsov . the best of them was Kuznetsov, who reached the quarter finals, where he lost to Nadal.
