Chelbogashev Gennady Karpovich (b. 1965, Ust-Kezes ) - architect and artist , lives in St. Petersburg . Professor of the Moscow branch of the International Academy of Architecture , assistant professor of architecture at the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture .

Biography

Born in the Shor village of Ust-Kezes in 1965. Early orphaned [1] , after graduating from the Mezhdurechensk boarding school No. 5, he left for Kemerovo , where he graduated with honors from the architectural and construction college. In 1987 he moved to St. Petersburg . He graduated from the All-Russian Academy of Arts with a gold medal, and remained to teach at it [2] . Member of the Union of Architects of Russia (1994). In 2011, he was elected professor at the Moscow branch of the International Academy of Architecture [3] .

Has an architectural studio LLC "ADS" [4] , "Modern" [5] .

In 2013, the Government of St. Petersburg was awarded a prize in the field of fine art.

Architectural Projects

  • 1995 - an Orthodox church in the name of the Beheading of the Head of John the Baptist at the Piskarevsky cemetery , in collaboration with the architect G. A. Vasiliev . The project won the 4th International Review Competition for the best architectural works of the year, and the 3rd Russian Festival Architecture-95 [6] . Has not been implemented.
  • 1998 - Church of the Presentation of the Lord , built in 2009. It was a continuation of the project of the architect G. A. Vasiliev, who died in 1998 [7] [8] . The project was awarded a diploma at the Russian festival “Architecture-98” and the 6th International Review Competition [6] , a gold diploma at “Architecton-2003”, bronze at “Architecton-2008” and “Architecture-2008” [5] [ 9] [10] .
  • 1997-1998 - a monument to I. S. Turgenev on Manezhnaya Square (in collaboration with the sculptors J. Ya. Neiman and V. D. Sveshnikov), opened in 2001. The project won the competitions of the Union of Artists of Russia [11] [6] .
  • 2000 - "The cultural and commercial center in the village of Syargi, Vsevolozhsk district." Received a gold diploma "Architecton-2002" [9] [6] .
  • St. Nicholas Church in Baku (co-authored by architect Anna Generalova). He was awarded a diploma of the International Association of Union of Architects of the CIS countries at the next show in Baku [6] .
  • 2000 - winner of the contest “Monument to the Victims of Radiation Accidents and Disasters ”, held by the Union of Architects of St. Petersburg at the request of the Kalinin district administration [12] . After the competition, the administration gave preference to the project of V. B. Bukhayev and I. B. Korneev who took second place, explaining their decision with technical and financial reasons [6] .
  • 2002-2003 - an apartment building on Chernyakhovsky street , 13 (Silver diplomas "Architecton-2003" and "Architecture-2003" [9] , X-th international festival "Architecture-2002" [13] )
  • 2009 - business center on Pirogovskaya nab. 17. Golden diploma in the competition "Architecton-2009" [14] [9] .
  • 2010 - winner of the All-Russian contest of monument projects to Peter Bagration (sculptor Jan Neumann). The monument is unveiled in honor of the 200th anniversary of the battle of Borodino. [15] . For the project received a prize of the Government of St. Petersburg [16] .
