Sunyaev, Ali Rashidovich

Ali Syunyaev was born in Moscow. Father Rashid Syunyaev - Soviet and Russian astrophysicist , academician of RAS . Brother Shamil Syunyaev is a geneticist, a professor at Harvard University . Mother Gyuzal Syunyaeva - therapist. Brother Usman is a computer scientist, sister Zulfiya is a doctor.

He studied at the Moscow Mathematical Grammar School number 1534 . In 1996, the family moved to Germany because of her father’s work. In 1998 he graduated from the correspondence secondary school at the Consulate of Russia in Bonn (Germany) ^[2] . In 2000, he graduated from the Werner Heysenberg Gymnasium in Garching near Munich and entered the Technical University of Munich (TUM ). In 2005 he graduated from the Faculty of Computer Science and received a diploma in computer science. In the same year he entered the graduate school of the Institute of Informatics TUM. In 2010 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on the subject of development and practical application of the method of analyzing the security of information systems in the field of health ^[3] .

In 2010, he began working at the University of Cologne ( Eng. University of Cologne ) with the title of “assistant professor”. In 2016 he became a professor at the University of Kassel ( Eng. University of Kassel ) and director of the Scientific Center for Information Technology Development ( eng. Research Center for Information System Design ). Since 2018, professor of computer science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and director of the Institute of Applied Informatics ( eng. Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods ) with him.

In 2009 and 2012, he worked at the joint laboratory of the Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology ( Eng. Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, Intelligent Health Lab, Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Boston, Massachusetts, USA ) as a visiting researcher . In the spring of 2011, he was a guest lecturer at the plenary session of the annual conference of the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.

Works in the development and management of information systems. Special attention is paid to the combination of technical and social aspects in the development of programs and information systems. His research interests include the development of innovative applications in medicine, cloud computing ^{[4] [5] [6]} ( English cloud computing ), blockchain ^[7] / DLT, and information systems security management ^[8] ( English Information Security / Information Privacy ).

He manages a number of projects funded by the German Research Foundation (the German Research Foundation ), the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research ( Eng. Federal Ministry of Education and Research ) and the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy ( Eng. Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs). and Energy ), as well as companies (for example, SAP SE or SQS AG).
