Biography
Gnei Tremellius was first mentioned in sources in connection with the events of 205 BC. e. Then he was a questorium (a former questor ) and participated in the embassy, which brought to Rome from Phrygian Pessinunt the personification of the Mother of the Gods [1] [2] . In 203 BC e. Flaccus served as the plebeian aedile [3] . Having won the love of the people thanks to the games organized by him, he achieved his election by praetor for the next year [4] . As a praetor, Gnei ruled Sicily [5] [6] [7] .
