Biography

Ibarra began his professional career at the Colon Club in 1993. Then the team played in the second Argentine division, and since 1995 began to participate in the Example . From the same year, Ibarra was on the list of interests at Boca Juniors , a club that Ibarra would later call "his home."

After three successful seasons in Boke, Ibarra moved to Porto , where he spent 1 season. Without a European passport, he was forced to spend the next 3 seasons on rents in teams where the issue of the limit on non-Europeans was not as acute as in Porto (this club has traditionally relatively many South Americans, especially Brazilians). He spent the first season on loan at Bok. As a player of Monaco , Ibarra reached the final of the Champions League 2003/04 , where Monaco lost just Porto in the final with a score (0: 3).

In July 2005, Ibarra returned to Boca Juniors, where he was the captain and living legend of the club. On April 18, 2007, Ibarra returned after some absence from the Argentine national team - in a friendly match against Chile, Ibarra played the role of captain of the national team. In 2010, he completed his professional career.
