Gyьzё Victor Exner ( Hungarian. Exner Győző Victor , December 22, 1864 , Beregsas - October 14, 1945 , Budapest ) - Hungarian chess player of Jewish origin , master. Also known as a poet (usually published under the name Gyёзёзu Regioci : Hung. Regőczy Győző ).

Biography
Born in the territory of Transcarpathia . In his youth he moved to Budapest.
He worked as a teacher of the Hungarian and German languages in Budapest, Pressburg , Szekesfehervar . Since 1910 - in Gyor .
Consisted in the Erkel Chess Club (in 1889 the club entered the Buda Chess Society). While working at Székesfehérvár, he was chairman of the local chess club.
Together with his brother collaborated with the magazine " Budapesti Sakkszemle ". [one]
In 1911, suffered a stroke . After that, rarely took part in competitions.
In 1921, he became a member of the Presidium of the Hungarian Chess Federation .
In 1939, for his contribution to the development of chess in Hungary, he received the title of honorary master. [2]
In 1946, the Exner Memorial was held.
Family
Father - Niklas Exner, judge. Mother - Irma Exner (nee. Husar). Brother - Cornel Exner , lawyer, first president of the Hungarian Chess Federation. [3]
Three kids. Son - Emil Exner, engineer-surveyor, Kozut Prize winner in 1953 [4]
