History
The continuum was created in December 1992 by Jody Wells (1947-1995) in London , UK . It ceased to be published in 2001, after the entire editorial staff died of AIDS-related diseases [1] , leaving debts of £ 14,000 [2] . The last paper issue appeared in print in 1998, after which in February 2001 an online version of the magazine appeared. The frequency of production was 6 times a year, and since the second half of 1997 - 4 times a year.
The objectives of the publication in the March-April 1996 issue were formulated as follows:
The Continuum began as a newsletter designed to reassure victims and give them the choice of treatment and care. As we worked, anomalies in orthodox views continued to come to light.

Continuum promoted the idea that the official scientific view of AIDS is the result of a conspiracy , and diseases that are generally accepted as the result of AIDS are not related to HIV. Wells believed that the fear of AIDS is based on homophobia , and not on scientific evidence [4] .
The continuum claimed the role of a scientific journal for those who had alternative ideas about HIV / AIDS. HIV dissidents often refer to articles published in this journal as a source of scientific information.
“Continuum” is a unique forum for those members of the scientific community who challenge orthodox views and those whose lives are somehow affected by the [HIV] hypothesis.

In January / February 1996, publishers offered a £ 1,000 reward to the first person to be able to isolate the HIV virus [5] , although the virus was first isolated in 1983 by Luke Montagnier and Francoise Barre-Sinoussi [6] (for which they received the Nobel Prize ) [7] . This work was then confirmed in 1984 by Robert Gallo [b] , who demonstrated that an isolated retrovirus called HTLV-III, which he linked to leukemia in his early work, caused AIDS [8] . Peter Dyusberg tried to get a prize and wrote an article for a journal number for July / August 1996 [9] , but the award was not given because the article did not meet certain conditions.
Nevertheless, the article caused a split among HIV-dissidents. Some of them believed that HIV exists, but does not lead to AIDS, while others continued to deny the existence of the virus.
In June 2013, the Immunity Resource Foundation (Immunity Resource Foundation) placed the full Continuum journal library in its online database along with 120,000 similar documents [10] .
