Nikolai Mikhailovich Taktarov (born September 5, 1951, Zubovo-Polyansky District , Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Russian political figure [1] , from August 3, 2018 - the head of the city of Penza (chairman of the Penza City Council).

Short Biography
Nikolai Mikhailovich Taktarov was born on September 5, 1951 in the Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
In 1974 he graduated from Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogaryov . In 2002, he received the profession of lawyer, graduating from Penza State University .
From September 2017 to August 2018, he served as deputy chairman of the Penza City Duma, but due to the resignation of Valery Savelyev, he was elected [2] the head of the city of Penza (chairman of the Penza City Duma), nominated by the United Russia political party. It is non-partisan. He is also a deputy of the city duma of the VI convocation [3] .
