Living room in Vladivostok

Gostinica is a word widely used in modern lexical usage and used in colloquial speech as a substitute for the bulky, uncommon and inaccurate in meaning of the “official” legal construction “hotel-type room” . Living room - a type of living space, which is either a small one-room apartment, or a room with a kitchenette and a bathroom. Also, a living room is a building consisting of such apartments or rooms - a hotel-type house .

Description

The living room is usually a multi-storey (from 3 to 16 floors) panel or brick building. On the floor there is usually a large number of apartments - from 10 to 40 (in the illustration to article 44 of the room); guest rooms usually consist of one section, although multi-section guest rooms, usually 5-storey ones, are not uncommon. Similar houses were built for workers in industrial enterprises, large-scale industries as temporary housing in the chain "dormitory - living room - full-length apartment."

Mass construction of houses with apartments and hotel-type rooms in the USSR began in the 1960s and 70s . There are two types of living rooms - apartment and room. The apartment room includes a living room (12-18 m 2 ), a small kitchen (4-6 m 2 ), an entrance hall and a bathroom. Such houses can be divided into two types, depending on the area of the living room. Often in such apartments there is also a balcony ( loggia ) for the entire apartment. The second type of guest rooms is houses with hotel type rooms. These houses do not consist of apartments, but of rooms with a kitchen niche in the hallway and a combined bathroom with a sitting bathtub.
