Hosts and Distribution
Among other fleas, it was found on house sparrows [1] .
The non-Arctic subspecies Ceratophyllus celsus celsus most often parasitizes on the shore swallow and mountain swallows of the genus Petrochelidon [2] . Distributed in the USA and Canada . Representatives of the subspecies Ceratophyllus celsus apricus were noted in Cuba [3] .
