XVIII festival "Rock-February - 2011"

The XVIII Regional Festival " Rock-February - 2011" was held in the city of Ivanovo in February 2011 . ^{[1] The} concert of the festival took place in the hall of the Institute of Engineering College of the Institute of Economics and Technology and gathered almost a hundred young groups (about four hundred participants) from different areas of the Ivanovo region and cities: Vladimir (city) , Kostroma , Moscow , Nizhny Novgorod , Yaroslavl . According to the results of the festival, the Grand Prix of the festival was awarded to the rock group “Mediator of Fate”, Furmanov (city) . ^[2] Vocalist of the group “Mediator of Fate” Alexander “Smoke” Makarov will be dissatisfied with the performance and music of the group. Therefore, in just a few years, she will gather another group “The Bat”, which will win an award in the “Hard Rock” nomination at the XII All-Russian Festival “Rock-February-2018” ^[3] . And this is not the only example when musicians participate in the Rock February festival for several years in a row and this allows them to grow creatively. For example, Konstantin Volkov, the leader of The Cellophane Heads, winner of the 10th All-Russian Festival Rock-February 2014, also believes that the group was obliged to participate in the festival with creative growth: “Our creative growth and victory were the result of repeated participation in the festival and work over errors after each of them ” ^[4] . All this suggests that the festival is a real creative environment that contributes to the formation and creative development of young rock musicians and performers.
