P-102 “Cranberry” [1] - an HF automobile radio station of medium power of front-line radio networks, the leading one in the series of the same name. Modifications of R-102M , R-102M2 and P102-M3 were produced [2] .
Description
Radio stations of such families were designed to provide searchless, unadjusted telegraph and telephone two-way radio communications as part of a communication center or autonomously [2] .
The most widely used modifications were the R-102M2 and R-102M3 (produced since 1976), the difference of which was the number of cars needed for placement: for the R-102M2, two ZiL-157EG cars with KUNG-1M box bodies were required, for R -102M3 - just one. Each radio set includes R-154M2 and R-311 radios. The radio tubes and the VT-44M pathogen served as an elemental base [2] .
The R-102M radio station was located on three cars; in its transmitter there was also a rheostat almost the entire length of the van [3] .
