Melenka [2] is a river in the Sanchursky district of the Kirov region . Left tributary of the Big Kokshagi .

Description
The length of the river is 11 km, the catchment area is 29.8 km² [3] . It originates 1.5 km north-east of the village of Alekseiha from a small network of ditches [4] . The direction of the current is northwest. In the lower reaches of the village of Gorodishche, the river turns southwest and flows into the Bolshaya Kokshaga on the left bank in the village of Sanchursk [5] (300 m below the bridge and 173 km from the mouth).
In the upper half of the river, the banks are covered with forest vegetation.
The small village of Pisarino is also located on the river bank (the Yoshkar-Ola – Sanchursk highway crosses the river near the village), the villages of Vypolzovo , Vorokhovo , Sosnovo , and Legkanur are in the basin [5] .
