Ratz, Emanuel Genrikhovich

Emanuel Genrikhovich Ratz (1906 -?) - Soviet civil engineer, laureate of the Lenin Prize .

Born in 1906 in Odessa. He graduated from the construction department of Odessa Industrial Institute (1927).

Candidate of Technical Sciences (1938), Associate Professor (1934). In the 1930s taught at the Kharkov Institute for Advanced Engineering.

From 06/19/1942 to 1944 he served in the Red Army , the Bryansk Front , a military engineer of 3 ranks. He was awarded the medal "For Military Merit" for the design of new types of bunkers.

Since 1952 Laboratory of prefabricated reinforced concrete structures, Research Institute of Reinforced Concrete, Glavmospromstroymaterialy, since 1961, at the same time deputy. director of the institute.
