Barbara Schöneberger was born on March 5, 1974 in the city of Munich ; the only child in the family of clarinet musician Hans Schöneberger and his wife Annemarie. She studied sociology and art history in Augsburg .
Since 1999, Barbara Schöneberger has been broadcasting on German television, including the Die Schöneberger Show and Blondes Gift , for which she was nominated for the Grimme-Preis Prize . She also participated in the filming of several television films and participated in the 2009 Echo Music Prize Award Ceremony.
Schöneberger was a representative of Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, held in Vienna, and at the competition in 2016, which took place in Stockholm . In May 2017, she again represented the country at the Eurovision finals, this time in Kiev, and is likely to become the German representative at Eurovision 2018, which will be held in Lisbon .
