History
The village of Zakhrelye is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [2] .
ZAKHRELYE - the village belongs to the Office of the Pavlovsk city government, the number of residents according to audit: 47 m. P., 53; p. [3] (1838)
ZAKHRELYE - village of Pavlovsky town government, along a country road, the number of courtyards is 14, the number of souls is 44 м. P. [4] (1856)
ZAKHRELYE - the village of Pavlovsky town government with a well, the number of yards - 14, the number of inhabitants: 39 m. P., 48; P.; Orthodox chapel [5] . (1862)
In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Konstantinovsky volost of the 1st district of the 1st camp of the Gdovsky district of the St. Petersburg province.
According to the Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province of 1905, the village formed the Zakhrelsky Rural Society [6] .

From January to February 1917 the village was part of the Konstantinovsky parish Gdovskogo County.
From 1917 to 1924, as part of the Zastoronsky Village Council of the Dojolo Volost.
From 1924 to 1927, as part of the village council Zayatskovskogo.
Since February 1927, as part of the Vyskatskoy parish.
Since August 1927, as part of the Rudny District .
Since 1928, as part of the Luzhetskaya Village Council. In 1928, the population of the village was 134 people.

In 1997, 5 people lived in the village of Zakhrelye, Novoselsky volost, in 2002 - 6 people (all Russians) [12] [13] .

Geography
The village is located in the south-eastern part of the district on the 41K-162 road ( Zaruchye - Shavkovo ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 12 km [14] .
The distance to the nearest railway platform Slantsy is 45 km [9] .
To the west of the village flows the river Ruya .
