Career

Club career

Born in Yugoslavia , Milan Ivanovich began his professional career at the local club Crvenka . Having played for several seasons for from and Belgrade OFK , Ivanovich was invited to the grand Yugoslav football - Crvena Zvezda , but failed to gain a foothold in its main squad.

In 1988, Ivanovich emigrated to Australia . Since 1989 he played for and became a two-time Australian champion (1991/1992, 1993/1994), a two-time Australian Cup winner (1989, 1991/1992), and also received personal awards: by at the end of the 1991/1992 season, he was awarded the as the best player of the championship, and in 1993 the , which was awarded to the best player in the final match of the national championship [2] .
