Kingsman is a British - American franchise based on the adventures of Kingsman agents, a fictional secret organization. The franchise began in 2012 with the Marvel comic strip “ The Secret Service ”. Later two sequels came out: “ Kingsman: The Big Exit ” and “ Kingsman: The Red Diamond ”, in 2017 and 2018. The series was renamed after the release of the film Kingsman: The Secret Service [1] [2] .

Kingsman: The Secret Service , directed by Matthew Vaughn and co-authored with Jane Goldman , was released in February 2015. The film starred Colin Firth , Theron Edgerton , Michael Kane , Samuel L. Jackson , Mark Strong , Sophie Cookson , Sophia Butella , Jack Davenport , and Mark Hammil [3] . The sequel to the film, entitled The Golden Ring , was released in September 2017. The third film, prequel and television series in development were announced in mid-2018. The franchise will expand to television with eight episodes. Since 2012, numerous Kingsman video games have been released.

Comic Series
The Secret Service
The Secret Service comic book series was released from 2012 to 2013 and initially had the title “Kingsman” in the title [1] . Also in this series there are elements from another comic book series by Mark Millar [2] . The comic book series lasted three years.
The Big Exit
A separate sequel to The Secret Service called Kingsman: The Big Exit was published in the Playboy Magazine from September to October 2017 in collaboration with Rob Williams and Ozgur Yildirim. A short time after Brexit , The Big Exit follows Galahad as it is entrusted with defending the controversial "divorce fee" during its trip to Brussels , consisting of 100 billion pounds of solid gold bars, from the Allied Brexit terrorist group disguised as French activists to steal gold from Britain [4] .
The Red Diamond
The second volume of “Kingsman,” subtitled “The Red Diamond,” was released through Image Comics in September 2017, which takes place over one week.
Movie Series
Kingsman: Secret Service (2015)
In October 2011, Matthew Vaughn began negotiating with Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons about the film adaptation of the Secret Service comic book series [5] . In March 2013, 20th Century Fox acquired the rights to distribute the film [6] . Filming began in October 2013 in Surrey (England) [7] . The film was released on February 13, 2015. The main roles were played by Theron Edgerton , Colin Firth and Samuel L. Jackson .
Kingsman: The Golden Ring (2017)
In April 2015, 20th Century Fox announced that a sequel to the first film was under development [8] . In June 2015, Vaughn began writing the script [9] . The filming process started in May 2016 in Birmingham (England) and ended in September 2016. The premiere of the film was scheduled for September 22, 2017 [10] [11] . The main roles were played by Theron Edgerton, Halle Berry , Julianne Moore , Colin Firth and Mark Strong .
Announced Movies
King's Man: The Beginning (2020)
Vaughn announced another prequel movie called “Kingsman: The Big Game” and the action, which will take place in the 1900s [12] . In September 2018, it was announced that Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson would star in the prequel [13] [14] . In October 2018, it was rumored that Rachel Weiss and Brad Pitt were considered for the main roles in the film [15] . In November 2018, it was announced that Daniel Bruhl , Charles Dance , Rhys Evans, and Matthew Goode would also star in the film. [16] The film is reported to be a stylistically dramatic period, and it will examine the formation of the tailor and the Kingsman agency, and the slogan of the film will read “The Man Who Will Be the King” [16] . By June 2019, the official name of the film was changed to “The King's Man” [17] .
The release of the film is scheduled for February 14, 2020 [18] .
Kingsman 3 (TBA)
Matthew Vaughn stated that he and Goldman have plans for the third film of the Kingsman franchise [19] . In the September 2017 issue of Film , Vaughn named Dwayne Johnson his personal choice for the role of the villain sequel [20] . Matthew also suggested that this sequel might be the last, as he considers the Kingsman franchise a trilogy. [21] Filming of the triquel will begin in January 2019 for release in 2020 [22] .
In December 2017, Vaughn presented information on the title of the third film [23] . He confirmed that there will be a new massive addition to the cast. In addition, he said that the third film will be the next chapter in Eggsy's evolution and will be made in such a way that viewers do not expect.
In March 2018, Vaughn confirmed that he was still working on a script for the third film [24] . Although he did not disclose any details about the plot, he said that he has something great to do. In another interview, he teased the fans with the possible return of Merlin performed by Mark Strong , but did not confirm or deny the rumors about it [25] .
In June 2018, the director announced that the third film will be shot with a prequel that will end the Harry Hart Eggs trilogy [12] [26] .
On November 9, 2018, Theron Edgerton confirmed that he would not return to the third film, but told fans of the franchise that he would still portray the character in future releases after Kingsman 3 [27] .
Statesman (TBA)
In addition to the triquel, Vaughn expressed a desire to remove the Statesman spin-off, in case of success of the Golden Ring [28] . Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry will once again perform their roles in the film [12] .

Animation
#TBT: That Time Archer Met Kingsman
On July 20, 2017, FOX released an animated short film “Kingsman” and “ Archer )”, entitled “#TBT: That Time Archer Met Kingsman”, featuring Eggsy and Special Agent Archer [39] . Eggsy discovers that Archer has stumbled upon Kingsman's secret arsenal, tucked away in a custom-made costume shop. To return the goods, Eggsy challenges Archer to “the most gentleman of the competition”: a drink competition, planning to kill him with a glass of drugs; Archer instead drinks the entire bottle without the drug and faints from busting with alcohol. Eggsy swears to himself to go to America and "teach American agents a lesson," but before that he draws a genitals on Archer's forehead. Theron Edgerton and H. John Benjamin respectively voiced their characters in this short film [40] .
TV Series
In June 2018, Vaughn announced the opening of his new film studio, and that with the participation of the same studio, the eponymous television series “Kingsman”, consisting of eight episodes, will be shot [12] .
Computer Games
In August 2017, it was confirmed that “Kingsman: The Golden Ring” will have a game to accompany its release, and that it will be a three-in -one turn - based role - playing game released on iOS and Android by Korean mobile game company NHN PixelCube [41] . The game also includes characters from Kingsman: The Secret Service and the game was released worldwide on September 14, 2017, about a week before the movie was released [42] . Unlike films, the game received a rating of "12+" [43] [44] . In the days before the movie’s release, another mobile game based on the Kingsman franchise, Kingsman: Secret Service, was announced to be in development for iOS and Android as well, the American mobile game developer YesGnome. The game is a hybrid action adventure [45] [46] .
A few months after the launch of the mobile game on the film “Kingsman: The Golden Ring” on April 24, 2018, it was announced that the game servers would be closed on May 23, 2018 after a “careful consideration” and poor game base of the game [47] . As of this date, YesGnome's Kingsman: Secret Service game is still under development, and the Android version remains in early access. Meanwhile, after many months of early access, May 1, 2019 Yesgnome was released the game "Kingsman: Secret Service" [48] .

September 22, 2017 was written by Tim Wagoner and the book “Kingsman: The Golden Ring: The Official Novelty of the Film” was released about the film “ Kingsman: The Golden Ring ” [49] .
