Alexey Mazhaev from InterMedia believes that the album “Phenomena” should have become an important and peculiar milestone in the work of the singer after the start of fruitful collaboration with a new producer, Yana Rudkovskaya . But “the main fruits of cooperation,” according to Mazhayev, should not be sought here. The critic notes an increase in the presence of Yulianna Karaulova on the screen, the singer’s clips have become brighter than before - in the videos she appears naked and on a motorcycle, then kills someone, and then runs in a spectacular golden dress. In this case, the dress is remembered, and the songs themselves - worse. Alexey pays special attention to the title track of the album “Just so”, which the listeners will easily love for the great presence of charm, unlike the rest, where Karaulova is trying to create something new in the style of performance, but the hit potential is a bit lacking.
Alexey Mazhaev also noted that there were no significant changes in the musical style of Julianna Karaulova’s change of producer: - “She still performs pop songs without special pretensions, but quite qualitative ones: pleasant melodies, a bit of humor in the lyrics and the absence of the caller, frightening fashion makes the singer understandable and close to the people. For example, the song "Phenomena" can be taken for the song of the group "Silver", but without aggressive sexuality. On the new album there are hints of more bold and paradoxical texts, which at least the names of the tracks “Best Enemy”, “Paranoiac” and “Lovers” say, however, when in the last issue “lovers” rhyme with “drugs”, the whole structure collapses and turns into some kind of parody. In “Paranoiac” and “I Don't Believe,” Julianna tries to move away from Russian pop music in the direction of R'n'B, but, apparently, not too sincerely [3] .
