Ivan Andreevich Romashko (born October 29, 1929 , the village of Malinovka , Siberian Territory ) is a Soviet and Russian operetta artist, librettist , people's artist of the RSFSR .

Biography
Ivan Andreyevich Romashko was born on October 29, 1929 in the village of Malinovka (now Aleysky district of the Altai Territory ). After school, he entered the Novosibirsk Aviation College, at the same time was engaged in singing in the House of Officers.
In 1955 he graduated from the music school at the Leningrad State Conservatory . After the 1st year of college, he served in the army in the Baltic Fleet.
In 1955-1959 he performed at the Pyatigorsk Theater of Musical Comedy (now the Stavropol Operetta Theater ).
In 1959, he became the soloist of the new Novosibirsk Musical Comedy Theater (since 2017, the Novosibirsk Musical Theater). The author of the libretto is the operetta: “Spring Winds” (music by V. Levashov), “Extraordinary Day” (music by G. Gobernik), “Red Rowan” (music by G. Ivanov) and “By the Sea of Ob” (music by G. Ivanova). He wrote poems, parodies, epigrams, songs, ditties, congratulatory reprises, most of which were included in his book "Smiles of the actor."
He was chairman of the Novosibirsk branch of the STD of Russia, public director of the Novosibirsk House of Actors.
