I Hope You're Happy was recorded at Up / Down Studios in San Marcos , Texas . To finance work on the album, the group again used the crowdfunding project, which was launched on the group’s website.
The album was released on the independent label Up / Down Records, created by the group. The album was released on CD, vinyl records, as well as in digital format.
