Carlo Zecchi ( Italian: Carlo Zecchi ; July 8, 1903 , Rome - August 31, 1984 , Salzburg ) - Italian pianist and conductor .

He studied in Rome, then in Berlin with Ferruccio Busoni and Arthur Schnabel . Has toured in Europe since 1922. The core of Tsekka’s repertoire was the works of Schumann and Liszt , as well as early Italian music. After a car accident in 1939 , he left his solo career, but continued to play as a pianist in various chamber ensembles, including in rather complicated parts, especially known is the duet of Tsekki with cellist Enrico Maynardi . In 1964 - 1976 headed the Vienna Chamber Orchestra . He taught at the Roman Academy of Music of Santa Cecilia and at the Salzburg Mozarteum , in 1945 - 1947 . Managing Commissioner of the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro .
