Wilhelm Teils ( niderl. Willem Theyls ) served at the Dutch Embassy in Turkey, and in 1714 - 1718 . in charge of the affairs of the Russian mission [1] . His son Anton (1689–1761), MD, was a member of the Russian service since 1714 [2] ; his sons:

  • Ivan Antonovich (1747—1786) - doctor of medicine [3] .
  • Anton Antonovich (1733 - between 1811 and 1818) - Vice-Director of Moscow University [4] . Translated from the French "News, serving to the history of Charles XII, King of Sweden", written by his grandfather, Wilhelm Theils [5]
  • Ignatius Antonovich (1744-1815) - was the governor of Tver, the president of the chamber-chamber and the senator [6] .
  • Andrei Antonovich - Moscow provincial prosecutor.
    • Natalia Andreevna - a writer [7] .

The genus is included in the genealogical books of the Kaluga [8] , Moscow , Tver and Tula provinces .

Emblem Description

In a shield divided perpendicularly in two, a silver ship with sails is depicted in the right half in a blue field on a wave of the sea. In the left half of the gold field, the black crowned eagle is standing with one foot on the bush, and the other is holding a branch with a rose.

On the shield noble crowned helmet. Crest: black eagle in the crown. The mark on the shield is blue, enclosed with gold and silver. Supporters: two silver rams. Under the shield is the motto: “Recte faciendo neminem timeas” ( Gerbnik , VI, 131).
