Biography

Club career

In 1990, he began performing at the Georgian championship teams - “ Gorda ” (Rustavi), “ Egrisi ” ( Senaki ), “ Tskhumi ” (Sukhumi), “Dynamo” / “ Odishi ” (Zugdidi). In the 1997/98 season, he first moved to a foreign club - he played in the Polish top division for Pogon (Szczecin). After returning to Georgia, he played for Tbilisi Dynamo and Lokomotiv . As part of Dynamo, he became the champion of Georgia in the 1998/99 season. In February 2000, he signed a contract with the Russian “ Anji ” [1] , but left the team even before the start of the season.

In early 2001, moved to Kiev CSKA , later renamed Arsenal . The debut match in the major league of Ukraine was played on March 11, 2001 against the Ternopil Niva [2] . In total, he spent a season and a half in the team, played 33 matches in the major league, as well as 4 games in the Ukrainian Cup and 6 matches in the Europa League . In 2003, after a short period of appearances for Tbilisi Lokomotiv, he returned to Ukraine and played 26 matches (1 goal) in the major league for Krivbass . The goal was scored on October 25, 2003 in a match against Dnipro [3] .

In 2004, he played in the Belarusian championship for Minsk MTZ-RIPO , and in 2005 in the Latvian championship for Metallurg (Liepaja), and became the champion of Latvia. The player’s last professional club was Kaliningrad Baltika in 2006, playing in the first division of Russia .

In the second half of his career, during his appearances abroad, Levan Mikadze used the documents of his younger brother, so in many sources he is mentioned under the name Lavrentiy and with a date of birth on November 20, 1978.

In the mid-2010s, several times during short periods he acted as head coach of FC Zugdidi .

Team Career

He played one match for the Georgian national team - on April 26, 2000 in a friendly game against Armenia (0: 0) he left in the starting lineup, but already in the 24th minute he was replaced by Alexander Rekhviashvili [4] .
