Karpysaksky waterfall is a waterfall of artificial origin in the Toguchinsky district of the Novosibirsk region , flowing from a dam through a damaged dam on a pond at the confluence of Karpysak and Bugotak . Height is about 4 m [1] .

History
In the late 1970s, local residents built an earthen dam with their own funds on the Bugotak River in the eastern part of the village of Karpysak , which resulted in a pond, its length was 900 m, width - 300 m, and depth - 4 m. . Subsequently, a crack was formed in the dam and a waterfall appeared [1] .
Tourist value
The waterfall attracts lovers of fishing, as carp are found in the pond from which the waterfall flows. In addition, on the north and east sides the reservoir is surrounded by a pine forest with rock outcrops and abundant growth of fungi [1] .
