According to another legend, Scamander (in this version the man) and Tevkr, driven by hunger, moved to the Trojan region with settlers from Crete [6] , from where they brought the cult of Apollo . He fought with mice [7] (with which the cult of Apollo Sminfey is associated).
According to the first version of the legend, Tevkr received Dardan , who had fled from Samothrace, to whom he had married his daughter Batia [8] and separated part of the region named after the newcomer Dardania [9] ; after the death of Tevkra, royal power passed into the hands of Dardan . According to the second version, Tevkr already found Dardan in Troas.
According to another story, a certain Tevkr came from Attica, from the demo of the Trojans, called Xipet [10] .
