Biography

He entered the service in 1853, after the end of the Polotsk Cadet Corps, he was promoted to ensign , and in 1854 to lieutenant .

Participant of the Crimean War , for this company in 1858 for courage received the Order of St. Anne IV degree . In 1856 he was promoted to lieutenant . From 1860 to 1864 he was a participant in the Caucasian War , in 1862 he was wounded. In 1862 he was promoted to captains of the captains , in 1863 to the Yesaul , in 1868 to military foremen , from 1871 to lieutenant colonel , from 1874 to colonel .
