Biography

Peter Porfiryevich Shramkov was born on January 16, 1864. By religion he was Orthodox . He graduated from the military gymnasium.

On August 20, 1880 he entered the service of the Russian Imperial Army. He received his military education at the Odessa Infantry Junker School , from which he was graduated from the 25th Smolensk Infantry Regiment . On April 7, 1884 he received seniority with the rank of ensign , on August 30, 1884 he received seniority with the rank of second lieutenant , on August 30, 1888 he received seniority with the rank of lieutenant , and on March 15, 1894 he received seniority with the rank of captain . Then he graduated from the Officer Rifle School with a successful assessment. He was promoted to captain with seniority on March 15, 1899. For nine years and 10 months he was a company commander. February 26, 1909 received seniority with the rank of lieutenant colonel . As of May 15, 1913, he served in the same rank in the 200th Kronshlot Infantry Regiment . May 6, 1914 "on the job" received seniority with the rank of colonel

He took part in the First World War . January 25, 1915 was appointed commander of the 53rd Siberian Rifle Regiment. As of August 1, 1916, he served in the same rank and position.
