Biography
Born on July 5, 1947 in the village of Komarichi, Komarichsky District, Bryansk Region. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Agricultural Engineers. V.P. Goryachkina ( IIISP ) (1969) and his graduate school (1972). Until 1973, he worked there as a research assistant.
In 1973-2008 at the Moscow Artists Academy. K. A. Timiryazeva : assistant, senior lecturer (1973-1978), associate professor (1978-1996), deputy dean (1991-1993), dean of the agronomy faculty (1993-2004), head of the department (2004-2008).
Since 2008, academician-secretary of the Department of mechanization, electrification and automation of RAAS. Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1997), professor (1996), corresponding member of RAAS (2005), corresponding member of RAS (2014).
He worked on solving the problems of mechanization of cultivation, harvesting and postharvest processing of crops, reducing energy costs and crop losses.
The author of inventions, confirmed by 34 patents and copyright certificates.
Awards, prizes, honorary titles
He was awarded the medal "In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow", 4 medals of VDNH and All-Russian Exhibition Center.
