Story

Nephew of Tora-san Mitsuo finally found the job of a sales manager in a shoe factory. His mother Sakura and father Hiroshi are very satisfied and wish their son would not leave this job. Even Uncle Torajiro came to support his nephew and set him up for a proper attitude to the work that finally appeared. But Mitsuo has his own opinion: he does not like this work. A little family quarrel was enough for Tora-san to go on a new journey. He stopped at the beautiful Lake Biwa, where he helps the injured tourist Noriko ... He likes her, but before anything could develop in their relationship, Noriko disappears. Meanwhile, dissatisfied with his work, Mitsuo leaves her, and, invited to the festival in Nagahama , leaves there. Here, at the festival, he meets the rebellious girl Nao, a post office worker, and falls in love with her.
