Valentin Georgievich Neneidenko (born July 9, 1967, Ivanovo ) is a Russian chemical scientist, since 2014 head of the Department of Organic Chemistry at Moscow State University , professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2016) [1] .

He graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Moscow State University (1991) and graduate school. In 1994, under the guidance of E. S. Balenkova, he defended his thesis on the theme “Synthesis of unsaturated ketones with a perfluoroacyl group and heterocyclization based on them.” Subsequently, he became a doctor of chemical sciences (2000, the topic of the dissertation "New synthetic possibilities of sulfonium and iminium salts").
Works at the Faculty of Chemistry of Moscow State University: Junior Researcher (1994), Researcher (1994), Senior Researcher (1995), Leading Researcher, Department of Petroleum Chemistry and Organic Catalysis, Laboratory of Hydrocarbon Chemistry (1999), Professor (2003), Head of Department (2014).
Specialist in the field of organic chemistry. Research interests: organic synthesis , chemistry of heterocyclic, sulfur and fluorine compounds, metal complex catalysis, asymmetric synthesis , medical chemistry. The author of more than 250 scientific articles and 10 monographs [2] [3] .
Winner of the European Academy Award (1997), Prize. I. I. Shuvalova 1st degree (2002), Prizes of the President of the Russian Federation (2004) [4] .
