Early years

Giovanni Berardi was born in 1380, in Corcumello , diocese of Mars . He came from a noble family of counts Marcy di Tagliazzo. Son of Alessandro de Pontibus. He was also indicated as Giovanni de Ponti and De Pontibus, as well as John de Tagliacocio. He was called Cardinal Tarentsky [1] .
