Bloober Team SA is a Polish computer game company based in Krakow . It was founded in 2008 by Peter Babeno and Peter Belyatovich and is best known for games in the genre of psychological horror Layers of Fear (2016) and Observer (2017). Their latest game, codenamed Project Méliès, was announced in March 2018. In January 2018, the Bloober Team received the Award in the Digital Culture category.

History
The Bloober Team was founded by Peter Babeno ( Polish. Piotr Babieno ) and Peter Belyatovich ( Polish. Piotr Bielatowicz ) in 2008 [2] .
One of the turning points in the history of the Bloober Team was the development of Basement Crawl , which debuted with the release of PlayStation 4 . After an unsuccessful reception [3], the studio processes the game, reusing the concept of the main game, adds new graphics, game mechanics, story and game modes. The resulting Brawl product was released in February 2015, received more favorable reviews and was provided free of charge to Basement Crawl owners [4] .
On January 10, 2018, the developer received the Award in the Digital Culture category [5] . On March 8, 2018, a new project was announced, code-named Project Méliès [6] . In October of the same year, the name of the game was announced - Layers of Fear 2 , which will be released in 2019 by the publisher Gun Media [7] .
