Pegov, Valentin Ivanovich

Born on May 4, 1941 in the village of Staroyugino, Kargasoksky District, Tomsk Region ). In 1965 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Tomsk State University with a degree in mechanics , in 1972 he completed postgraduate studies at TsAGI .

Since 1965 - in the city of Miass, Chelyabinsk region . Since 1965 - work in Special Design Bureau No. 385 (Engineering Design Bureau, Federal State Unitary Enterprise “ State Rocket Center “ Academician V. P. Makeev Design Bureau ””): engineer, group head, sector head, chief research associate (since 1992).

Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1977; dissertation defended at TsAGI ), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1991; defense at TsAGI ).

A participant in the development of the second and third generations of strategic marine systems with missiles R-27 , R-27K , R-29 , R-29R , R-29RM , R-29RM2 , R-39 and their modifications. He directs the direction of work to determine the hydrodynamic and gas-dynamic loads at the start and movement of the rocket in the underwater section of the trajectory. He is engaged in the problems of minimizing hydrodynamic effects and improving the characteristics of rockets. He made a significant contribution to the development of methods for starting products. With his participation, hydrodynamic facilities were created at the experimental base of the Academician V. P. Makeev center, a wide experimental study of the hydro-gas dynamics of underwater launch of rockets in laboratory and natural conditions was carried out ^[1] .

Since 1983 - work (concurrently) at the Department of Aircraft and Automatic Installations of the Aerospace Department of the South Ural State University : Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor , Professor ^[2] .

Academic title professor (1995). He prepared two candidates and one doctor of technical sciences.

Leading Researcher, Department of Fundamental Problems of Aerospace Technologies, Chelyabinsk Scientific Center, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences ( Miass, Chelyabinsk Region ).

Under the scientific supervision of V. I. Pegov, the environmental software package “Environment” was developed, which was introduced into the environmental monitoring of the cities of Zlatoust and Nizhny Tagil ^[3] .

Full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (1997). Member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts (1988) ^{[4] [3] [5]} .

He is the author of over 100 scientific publications (including three monographs) and 22 inventions in the field of rocket and space technology, 9 of which are embedded in rocket complexes created by the State Regional Center ^[1] .
