Content
Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Suvoroshch River , 19 km southeast of the village center of Departure and 16 km southeast of Gorokhovets .
History
The village was formed after the Great Patriotic War in connection with the organization of the Gruzdevsky peat enterprise. In the 1950s, the narrow-gauge railway Velikovo - Gruzdevsky - Bolshoi was built (dismantled in the early 1990s) [2] . In 1966, the village of the peat enterprise “Gruzdevskoye” of the Velikovskiy Village Council was renamed Gruzdevskoye [3] . Since 2005, the village is part of the Kupriyanovsky rural settlement .
