Content
Geography
It is located in the south-west of the region, on the right bank of the Kutuluk river, 15 km south-west of the city of Otradny , 30 km from the village of Kinel-Cherkassy and 60 km east of Samara .
It is bounded by the Kutuluk River in the west (the district border runs along the river in this place), and in the north by the forest and elders is the floodplain of Bolshoy Kinel .
Transport
In the southern part of the village there is a railway station Krotovka station ( KBShZhD ) on the Samara- Ufa line Railroad departs north from the village branch to the villages of Sukhodol and Surgut .
The Samara- Buguruslan highway passes through the northern part of the village; there is a local highway to the south to the villages of Podgorny and Pustovalovo .

The population is 5.41 thousand people (2017).

National composition (2010): Russians - 84.8%, Gypsies - 7.7%, Tatars - 1.8% [5] .
Sport
In 1992-1993, the football club Zarya played some home games in the village, who moved to the village from the village of Podgorny and played in the Second League of Russia . In 1994, the club moved to Samara, changed its name and soon ceased to exist [6] .
