Biography
Born in s. Pokrovka, Pokrovsky District, Orenburg Region.
He graduated from the Kuibyshev Agricultural Institute (1961) and the graduate school of the Moscow Forestry Institute (MLTI) (1965-1968).
Labor activity:
- 1961-1965 assistant forester, forester, chief forester in the Perm region.
- 1968—1969 chief forester of the Ruza forestry enterprise of the Moscow region.
- 1969–1996 Leading Engineer, Assistant, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Economics and Organization, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and External Relations (1991-1996) MLTI (Moscow State Forest University - MGUF).
- 1996-1998 director of the All-Russian Research Institute of Forestry and Forestry Mechanization.
- 1998-1999 head. Head of the Department, since 1999 Professor of the Moscow State University Forest.
Doctor of Economics (1982), Professor (1984), Academician of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (2001), Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2013).
The author of textbooks and manuals on the economics of forestry and the forest industry. Author of the scientific discovery "Development of the strategy for the formation and development of the market infrastructure of the forest complex of Russia".
