Johannes Pikkov ( Est. Johannes August Pikkov , November 5, 1883 - September 3, 1947) is an Estonian architect, politician, and local government official [1] .

Biography
Born in the family of Marta Pikkova (November 19, 1848–8 January 1918) and An Pikkov, nee Kurtmann (November 1, 1847–10 July 1924) [2] .
He graduated in 1934 from the architectural department at Tallinn Technical University .
In the 1930s, he worked as an architect in the Ministry of Roads , and in 1940-1941 in the People’s Commissariat of Commerce. In 1935, a member of the Technical Council .
Member of the board and architect of the Oma Colle apartment association.
In 1921 he was elected to the Tallinn City Assembly . Socialist [3] .
During the Second World War in 1944 he was a member of the National Committee of Estonia , and from September 18, 1944 he became Minister of Roads in the government of Otto Tiif .
The NKVD was arrested on September 25, 1944. Convicted at the government process of Otto Tiif in Moscow, sentenced, like Sumberg and Kaarlimäe , to 5 years in prison and 5 years of civil rights defeat [4] .
In August 1945, together with Tiif, Susi and Pärtelpoeg sent to Kuibyshev , from where he ended up in Krivoshchekovsky camps in Novosibirsk . In late October, together with Tiif, he was hospitalized with a diagnosis of alimentary dystrophy [4] .
At the same time as Tiif, he was sent to work behind the zone. He suffered from severe heart disease and managed to work only one day behind the zone. September 3, 1947 died of a heart attack right at work [4] .
