Biography

From the hereditary nobles of the Nizhny Novgorod province. The son of Nizhny Novgorod vice-governor Boris Efimovich Prutchenko. Landowner of Knyagininsky Uyezd (3379 dessiatins ) and Kologrivsky Uyezd of Kostroma Province (16000 dessiatins)

In 1851 he graduated from the School of Guard Ensigns and Cavalry Junkers , from where he was released as ensign in the Life Guards Dragoon Regiment with a secondment to the Life Guards Equestrian Pioneer Division, and the following year was transferred to this division. In 1854 he was promoted to second lieutenant , in 1856 - to lieutenant . In 1859, he was appointed adjutant to the head of the General Staff Headquarters for military schools, and in 1860 he was appointed to be at the headquarters of the head of military schools. March 27, 1860 dismissed from service with the award of the rank of staff captain .

On May 20, 1861, he took up the post of world mediator , the first draft, in the Knyagininsky district. In 1864 he was elected prince of the princes ubiquitous leaders of the nobility , and December 18, 1869 - Nizhny Novgorod provincial leader of the nobility. He was elected honorary justice of the peace in Nizhny Novgorod and Knyagininsky counties, and in 1869 - chairman of the congress of magistrates of the Nizhny Novgorod judicial world district. January 1, 1871 promoted to state councilors " for distinction ." In addition, he was an honorary trustee of the Nizhny Novgorod gymnasium and the Nizhny Novgorod noble institute (1864-1870), as well as the Nizhny Novgorod shelter for charity of the poor nobles of the Nizhny Novgorod province. He was elected an honorary citizen of Knyaginin .

On June 9, 1872 he was appointed Pskov governor with production as active state councilors . In 1880 he was elected chairman of the Pskov Archaeological Society . March 24, 1885 granted the rank of Privy Councilor . Since 1868 he was in the court rank of chamber junker , since 1873 - in the rank of chamberlain . He died in 1886 after a serious illness. He was buried in the John the Baptist Monastery .

He was married to Maria Fedorovna Bedryago. Their sons:

  • Sergey (1868-1920), trustee of the Riga and St. Petersburg educational districts, chamberlain.
  • Nikolai (1869-1929), graduated from St. Petersburg 3rd Gymnasium and St. Petersburg University. Colonel of the Life Guards of the Hussars of His Majesty the Regiment , at the disposal of Grand Duke Boris Vladimirovich (1916).
