Salmanovskoye oil and gas condensate field

The Salmanovskoye (Morning) oil and gas condensate field (NGKM) is located on the territory of the Tazovsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District in the northern part of the Gydan Peninsula and partially in the waters of the Gulf of Ob in the immediate vicinity of the South Tambeyskoye field. The field was discovered on October 29, 1979 with the first exploratory well No. 251.

In terms of recoverable reserves, the field is the largest discovered on the Gydan Peninsula .

It consists of 34 deposits, including 16 gas, 15 gas condensate, 2 oil and gas condensate and 1 oil in sediments from Cenomanian to Middle Jurassic inclusive.

Proved reserves of the field according to SEC standards were first estimated in 2012 and as of the end of 2012 amounted to 235.2 billion m 3 of gas and 8.6 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons.

Licenses for the development of the Salmanov (Morning) deposits on the Gydan Peninsula were acquired by NOVATEK in September 2011 and are valid until 2031.

In 2012, 2D seismic surveys in the amount of 351 km km and 3D in the volume of 759 km 2 were carried out at the Salmanovskoye and Geodetic fields. A reassessment of the reserves of the deposits was carried out, as well as the creation of their geological models. [2] [3]
