Burial ground Karazhartas

The cemetery Karazhartas is one of the megalithic monuments of the Begaz-Dandybay culture of the Late Bronze Age ^[1] . They are located on the right bank of the Taldy River, 2 km west of the aul Zhanazhurt , 12 km east of the village of Taldy in the Taldinsky rural district of the Shet district of the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan.

Research works are carried out by the candidate of historical sciences, the archaeologist Igor Alekseevich Kukushkin from the Saryarka archaeological institute of the KarSU named after. E. A. Buketova since 2014. The cemetery Karazhartas consists of 30 structures, lined with stone. In 2016, a pyramid with a size of 15 × 15 m was excavated. There are about 5–6 walls constructed by building masonry techniques. It has a pyramidal-step form ^[2] .

According to radioisotope analysis, the repository was built in the 15th — 14th centuries BC. er ^[3] The mausoleum is one of the largest, structurally complex structures of the late Bronze Age of Kazakhstan.

4 km from the cemetery Karazhartas in the burial of Tobildy in 2018 were found the graves of two horses and two newlyweds ^[4] . Horses are lying on their side, their backs to each other.

Akim of the Karaganda region Koshanov instructed to create the infrastructure and facilities for visiting tourists. Businessmen want to create an ethnoaul ^[5] . Perhaps already in 2019, an archaeological park will be created here.
